1-  As of July 1999 it did not contain "affectional or sexual orientation."  They will have it in the statement starting September 1999.

2-  Seeking Board approval by year-end in order to add "affectional or sexual orientation."

3-  No categories listed in a general statement of Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE), but there is a list in their policy containing "affectional or sexual orientation."

4-  Their statement contains the phrase sexual orientation but not the category "affectional or sexual orientation" under the LAD.

* The protected categories may or may not be engaged by the school districts with Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) statements.  EOE is not to be presumed to include "affectional or sexual orientation" by any particular school district's philosophy and/or practices.  A general statement such as this is limited to employment.  The students and community encompassing the district are not within a general declaration, necessarily.   Additionally, "affectional or sexual orientation" is not a part of affirmative action.
